Zlatibor is a mountain in Serbia that covers an area of about 1,000 km2, it is 55 km long and 20 km wide. It stretches northwest-southeast. The highest peak is Tornik (1,496 m). Famous holiday resort and wintering place, as well as air-conditioning.
Zlatibor is located in the north part of the area of Stari Vlah, the border area between Raska, Herzegovina and Polimlje. It covers the areas of three municipalities of the Republic of Serbia: Čajetina and one part of the municipality of Uzice (Kremanska oblast), northern Zlatibor and a smaller part of the municipality of Nova Varoš (Murtenička oblast), southern Zlatibor. The administrative center of Zlatibor is the municipality of Čajetina.
