The plateau of St. Sava is located in Vracar, near the circular stream of Slavija, one of the most important town squares. Plato was named after the Holy Sava, whose temple is in the same place, and the remains were burned at that place from Sinan Pasha in 1595.
In addition to the smaller church and the great temple of St. Sava, the National Library of Serbia is also located on the plateau.
