Partizan stadium (more commonly known as the JNA stadium) is a football and athletic stadium in Belgrade where FK Partizan plays. The official Serbian national football team also plays on it. The stadium is located in the settlement Autokomanda in the municipality of Savski venac.
For a long time, the stadium was called the JNA Stadium (Yugoslav National Army Stadium) (1951-1989) and was owned by the then Yugoslav People's Army.
Since the mid-fifties of the 20th century, and until 1987 at the stadium, each May 25 was held a Youth Day parade.
Partizan stadium had a capacity of 55,000 spectators before UEFA adopted new security rules. It was renovated in 1998 and now has 32,710 places. The playground has dimensions of 105x70 - m, stands have 30 rows of seats and there are 30 entrances for spectators. The highest point of the stadium is at a height of 21 m, and the furthest places of the spectacle are at a distance of 236 m in length (north-south) and 150 m in width (east-west). Partizan fans are calling their stadium a football temple.
In December 2011, the traffic light lamp was replaced with a new, modern LED indicator light. After 54 years, the lamp was retired. The first match that was played with that scoreboard was against Vardar in 1957, and the last one against Kragujevac Radnicki in 2011. Before the match started, the scoreboard read: "I am now retiring, and you stay with Partizan. Your Lampash.
