The monument to Vojvodi Stepi Stepanović is located in the Belgrade settlement Kumodraž, in front of his home.
Stepan Stepanovic - Stepa was the Serbian and Yugoslav duke.
He is a participant of the Serbian-Turkish wars (1876-1878), as a sergeant-sergeant, later a lieutenant. During the period between the battles on Slivnica and Kumanovo, he performed the duties of the battalion commander, commander, brigade, division and assistant chief of the General Staff. He was also a military minister twice. In that period, the Serbian army was well prepared for the upcoming wars in an organizational, professional, material and moral sense.
